Dr. Eric Baker
Dr. Baker earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, graduating at the top of his class. He was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Kappa Omega honor societies. He was also the sole member of his graduating class to be honored by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons with the award for Excellence in Oral Surgery.
Dr. Baker then received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, a top-ranked medical school. Dr. Baker remained in Dallas to complete a much sought-after residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the esteemed Parkland program. During this time he received training in Anesthesiology, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery. In his 6 year residency program, Dr. Baker was exposed to some of the most complex cases and highest volume of any oral surgery program in the world. Dr. Baker received extensive training in minimally invasive TMJ surgery, Microsurgery for Nerve Repair, and Dental Implant surgery. He is one of the only surgeons in the country to offer surgical Arthroscopy of the TMJ.
Dr. Baker is board certified and focuses his practice on minimally invasive techniques. His priority is to provide excellent outcomes with less pain, less swelling and less healing time.
He and his wife, Joanna, absolutely love living in San Clemente with their four sweet children.
